Brewed by the Sapporo Beer Company, this beer is one for refreshment. Sapporo is the oldest brand of beer in Japan, founded in 1876, by an adventurous spirit who left Japan at the age of 17 at a time when doing so was strictly forbidden. His travels eventually led him to Germany, where he learned the craft of brewing, a craft he would apply back home as Sapporo’s first brew master. Now Sapporo is the heart of Japan, with its iconic, steel can that cleverly locks in the coolness of the beer, making for a satisfying fizzing sound when opened.
