Chef Aman Lakhiani, born in Jakarta, Indonesia to an Indian family has loved food and cooking since he was a young boy. With a family that always had a passion for food, he traveled the world and fell in love with Japanese cuisine when he got the chance to travel there. Spending time in Tokyo at the Tsukiji Sushi Academy as well as Dos Palillos, Japanese cuisine through the eyes of Albert Raurich, former head chef of El Bulli, in Barcelona. All his experiences has accumulated to me opening Junsei Yakitori and Bar, a culmination of Chef Aman Lakhiani’s love for cooking over charcoal and Japanese cuisine.
