Alex Webb, a chef celebrated for his victory on "MasterChef: The Professionals" in 2020, hails from Essex and has crafted a notable journey in the culinary world from a young age. Starting his culinary journey at just 14, washing pots in his local restaurant, Alex quickly displayed a profound passion and knack for cooking, leading him to work in some of London’s most prestigious kitchens, including Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Dinner by Heston, Roux at Parliament Square, and The Frog in Hoxton with Adam Handling​​​​. 

His victory on MasterChef at the age of 25 showcased his exceptional skill and creativity, presenting dishes that left a lasting impression, not just for their taste but also for their theatrical presentation. One of his standout dishes during the competition included scallop ceviche, a cured pan-seared trout, and a dessert featuring a chocolate dome filled with parfait, passionfruit powder, and prosecco ice cream​​.
Following his MasterChef success, Webb has continued to evolve and innovate in the culinary scene. He embarked on a pop-up residency at the InterContinental London Park Lane, which has now become a permanent establishment, Alex Webb on Park Lane. Here, Webb delights diners with inventive and surprising menus that draw on nostalgic flavours from his childhood and travels, all while championing seasonal British produce​​. He particularly enjoys working with seasonal ingredients, citing summer as his favourite time of year due to the abundance of fresh produce.
