Castello Monaci is located in Salice Salentino in the Puglian province of Lecce. Its story starts in the 1920s when Antonio Provenzano acquired a monastery, continued to plant vineyards and built a new cellar, which is now home to the Castello Monaci Wine Museum. Today, three generations later, Castello Monaco have over 350 acres of vineyards and craft wines from Southern Italy’s indigenous grapes: Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera.
